Double-dog dare done!
I can't say no to a dare. I finished the bag last night, felted it this morning (sorry about the bad after picture--will try to get one outside tomorrow).

I LOVE it! It's a great pattern and a great bag. When Theresa finishes refining the pattern you should buy it and make one. It would look great in Kureyon or with the flap done in one strand of eyelash and one strand of wool. I'm thinking of doing one in black with a dark fushia eyelash flap.
This bag gave me the urge to felt again. This afternoon I started some Fuzzyfeet (my first pair) using the leftover kureyon from Rosedale. It's a pattern I've wanted to try for a while.
While I was turning the heel I remembered that we need to get something for Emma's teacher for Christmas. So I put down the fuzzyfeet and started a Booga Bag. I didn't have any spare Kureyon, so this one will be a fuzzy Booga Bag made with Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride worsted. The colours will be charcoal grey and light grey and possibly some turquoise and amethyst depending on how much yarn I need. I started with the handles using the ab fab Barbie Knitting machine. I cranked out six feet (when stretched) of tube in about 15 minutes (it took longer because I messed it up a few times but even then it was only 40 minutes)!!!!!

I've already felted a piece of it and it will be perfect for the bag. This is the one I have to finish first. It's the last week of school before the holidays!

The Chicago bag is FABulous, Steph!

The bag looks wonderful - can't wait to see it in person!
Have you felted with Lamb's Pride before? If you don't normally use a laundry bag or zippered pillowcase, I strongly recommend it for the LP - the mohair jumps right out of the fabric. I pulled 3 handfuls (literally) of loose mohair out of the machine the other night (from ~ 2 1/2 skeins of the LP).

Can't wait for that pattern to come out - you did it beautifully.

Woo hoo! It looks awesome, Steph! Thanks again for taking a chance on it. I hope you're going to model it for us!
