I'm a bit late this morning...
but that's because I spent the time finishing this:

I'm going out today to get the buttons, but as you can see, it fits great! Here's the back:

What a lovely sweater! It looks perfect. BTW... I feel the same way as you do about cables... love them but couldn't do them all the time.

I made the XL or largest size, and as you can see it ain't big. The finished chest is 42" and the length is 21". For perspective, I'm a 38" chest (with very broad shoulders) and I'm 5'6". Buttoned up this will just fit me (but in a good way).

Wow, your Must Have Cardie looks lovely! I really enjoyed making one for my mom's birthday last summer. I had to use icky Wool-Ease since she's allergic to wool. Great job!

Steph, it looks great! I think I'm going to have to order this pattern for myself, I just love it. I've heard it runs small so it was helpful to hear your sizing info.

It's so fab !
A wanderful piece of knitting. :0)

Thanks for the size details. I hope I got enough yarn. I'm 5'9 but 36"-37" around, and long waisted. The sleeves certainly look long enough, but the body is going to be really close in length. Did you have any yarn left over? Maybe I should plan for another ball to get an extra inch in the body? I love the way it looks on you!
