Some weeks I don't blog because I don't have much to say (shocking, I know). This week I haven't blogged due to time constraints despite the fact that I have lots to say. So let's call this a Friday teaser, a coming attractions, a note to me to get some time with the computer and the camera and do a proper post or six.
Coming soon to a computer near you:
Halloween (Comedy, Family, 2006): Join Grimmie and Frankie on their quest to get as much candy as possible.
Cactus Flower (Horror, 2006): A soul crunching odyssey filled with ripped strands of kidsilk haze (insert Jamie Lee Curtis scream here), pattern reworking and head-swallowing cowls. A battle between good and evil, yarn and woman, obession and reason. Will she ever have the sweater she covets so much? Or will the sweater have her?
The Migraine Mystery (Mystery, Drama, 2006): Why after 3 years does Stephannie get a migraine? She only had them on when she took the pill, but she's stopped. What hormonal mysteries lurk deep inside her bringing out such pain that she can't knit a stitch. Find out. (Actually, that's all there is for that movie--my head hurts, it sucks.)
The Noro Affair (Romance, 2006): Stephannie was a smart, happy woman, with a yarn basket full of pretty projects. Then one day she found the sweater of her dreams...
This and many more films coming your way on And She Knits Too!

I clicked on that last link. Bitch. That is a pretty smashing sweater. And she's going to do directions in my size. Fortunately I do not have a source of Noro here...
Sorry to hear about he migraines. My very good pal the comics scholar told me his mom had menstrual migraines (yep, that's what he called them) all the time. I bet she was happier than happy when menopause hit. But I also hope that this is NOT where you are going with this.

re: migraines...try that 'head on' product. i was really skeptical, but desperate one day, and bought it. my headache i'd had all day was gone, like magic in 10". i don't know what is in it, but it works. nayy.

um, hon, it's probably premenopausal hormone changes that is causing the headache. i do it too. i wanna see the head-swallowing cowl, though!

yes, the mystery of migraines...I've had them since a wee kid, and two of my three children inherited them. sigh

Oh, the migraine mystery. I, too only had them while on the pill. THEN, I got pregnant. Hmmm.
Had one, only one, with each of two pregnancies. BUT 5 months after each birth, THEY RETURNED. FOR GOOD. It has been 17 years. Peri-menopause has set in. They are fluctuating, but still there. I hear they go away after menopause. Joy. I recommend percocet.
I have a very sympathetic GP. He gets them.
Oh, and I love your Cactus Flower. I'm sure you will love this when it's all said and done. And I know you'll know just what to do with the neck.
