When there's nothing to say, do a meme
From Em.
Here's what you do:
1. Open your music library
2. Set settings to "Shuffle"
3. Press play
4. For each entry, type the song that's playing
5. For new entry, press the next/forward button
opening credits: "At my most beautiful" --R.E.M.
waking up: "Variation 16" -- Goldberg Variations performed by Glenn Gould (After this I started skipping the Classic stuff--a meme full of Variation X and Sonata Y doesn't work here).
first day at school: "Set Yourself on Fire" --Stars
falling in love: "Who Needs Sleep?" -- Barenaked Ladies (snork!)
breaking up: "Whenever God Sheds His Light" --Van Morrison (That's a bit creepy, I like to plan my own destiny).
prom: "Take a Message" --Remy Shand (make-out soul music)
life's okay: "Under Pressure" --Queen and David Bowie (life mirrors meme)
mental breakdown: "Forgiven" -- Alannis Morrisette
driving: "Add it Up" -- Violent Femmes
flashback: "E-bow the Letter" R.E.M.
getting back together: "Ice Cream" -- Sarah McLachlan
wedding: "Knowing Me, Knowing You" -- ABBA (I'm sooooo embarrassed. Emma likes ABBA. We listen to it in the car).
birth of child: "My Generation" --The Who
This made Craig and I think of this, from about 4 years ago, which is seriously cute:
final battle: "You and the Candles" -- Hawksley Workman (So I go out quietly. I would rather have had "Sympathy for the Devil" or something with some metal)
funeral song: "Walking in Your Footsteps" --The Police
end credits: "English Rose" --Everything But The Girl

Awesome music selection. How crazy is that that the songs would seem so fitting by name?
Too funny!

What a fun meme! And timely -- I already had iTunes open and playing on shuffle. I'm off now to make my own post. Thanks!

your abba song reminded me of the film, 'muriel's wedding'...it's quite charming, and has tons of abba music. have you seen it?
