Wanties
I know this might be taking the sheep thing too far, but I adore this:
See a close-up here.
It only comes in kiddie sizes but I think it might fit me. Except it really is a kid's helmet in style. I saw it in the local toy store. She's even knitting!

Get back to the box! :)

*laugh*
I nearly laughed aloud when I saw the get back to the box comment.
Maybe you can just get a normal bike helmet and knit a cover for it (or parts of it) or cover it with knitting stickers on the outside. Not as good as the kid's helmet, but better designed to keep your noggin safe.

Oh! Now I need it! Too bad my noggin is definitely adult size.

Cute! I am picturing a family riding down the bike path on a sunny Sunday afternoon with the kids wearing those. Too bad they don't come in adult size.

I'm sure if the manufacturer only knew the true obsessiveness of knitters they could make a small fortune on this helmet if only it were in adult sizes!

Too cute! I may need to hunt that down, I have 4 little girls!
Happy knitting,
ali

Man, adults get ripped off.

I was just wondering how receptive Louis Garneau would be to a write-in campaign to get them in adult sizes...hmm...

Have you EVER noticed that all the really cute stuff, and softest pj-s, is always for kids? If i could wear clothes as loose and soft as kids pj-s, I'd never get dressed!

That's amazing!

Oh wow. T. needs a new helmet, too...which toy store did you see it in?

The kids did get this hat for Stephannie for mother's day. And while the hat did go on her head it really is made for a kid...too bad it is really cute.
