I Love Summer

Long holiday weekend, sunny days, a big lake, sand...

 

and socks.  (Vesper sock yarn in a watermelon colourway) 

Oh and beer, but that was after the beach.

Glad to see you're having great summer weather on the other side of the country ... my blog post this weekend is also celebrating sun and water in the summer, altho' you do so much more economically, and those smiling faces in your photos really say it all for you. In the words of the wonderful Zoom at Sea,"More Sun, More Sand, More Sea" (well, lake, but then there's no alliteration!)

The beach is a great outing in the summer...I too went to the coast in California with my family this past weekend...while they did the boogie board thing i was knitting...and got myself a funny streak of sunburn on my face! Love the colour combination on the socks!
