Actual knitting content (even if it is slim)
I actually got to knit today. Emma had Brownies tonight and I spent a lovely evening in the park watching Xander run amok with yarn in my hands. I've only knit about 5 inches on my first sleeve of Roam and I'm in lurve. The Briar Rose Fourth of July (which I have called Rhinebeck) is beautiful and squooshy and the seed stitch is showing off the handpainted colours beautifully.
Sure, I have other projects on the go (some are just waiting to be sewn up) but I'll stick with this one for now. I've decided that since my knitting time is so thin, the trick is to knit what I feel like knitting and savouring it. I might actually be turning into a process knitter.

I love her designs, but that is a whole hellava lot of seed stitch.

Slim knitting is still knitting and that colourway is gorgeous. I love the name(s) of the yarn. All aptly apply to the beautiful colors that pop out with your seed stitch.

Beautiful colors! I love seed stitch--so satisfying to whip the yarn back and forth from knit to purl. Perfect for a process knitter. Enjoy your knitting time!

Thats some mighty-fine yarn there: what great colours! I rather like seed stitch, myself.
Good to see you yesterday! We should totally do the $5 lunch sometime :)

watching Xander and knitting? so does this mean you're a Buffy fan as well? Nothin' better than a Buffy/Angel DVD and some good knitting!

I'm interested to see how Roam turns out. As I have a deep and abiding love of Malabrigo, I'm always looking for patterns that I can frankenstein (mostly for gauge) that will show off the colors nicely.

You made me do it!!!! I was admiring Roam from afar then you said you were making it and next thing I knew - the yarn was on its way. Yours is going to be AMAZING. I got Lisa Souza baby alpaca silk in Mahogany.

Wow. It looks gorgeous in that colorway! But I know I could never stay awake through all of that seed stitch. You have my admiration. :)

The color of the yarn is gorgeous. Yes, seed stitch can be a pain to knit, but it makes beautiful fabric!
