Look before it's gone

Motive and opportunity ran into each other during the kids' skating lesson and I snapped an outdoor picture of Roam-in-progress.

Then Fate swept in and let me know that I casted on 4 fewer sts than I needed.  I can analyze  volumes of data, yet cannot count to 55.

There is no photo of me ripping it out.  Fuck.

I'm almost back to the 12cm mark where I noticed this and I'm glad it was the left front and not the back.

Those colours are so pretty!! I've had to rip back about 6" of my Roam too. It sucks big time.

About the yarn, were you able to get the correct gauge? Do you think it would work for 4.5 spi st st?

I am so happy that it's not just me who does that. I was three-quarters through a hat today when I realised that I was 10 stitches short. 75% done and I frogged the whole thing. Cast it on again, using stitch marker every 10 stitches, and finished half of it today. Never again will I cast on with out stitch markers, I swear.
