I'm done knitting the hood, let the finishing begin. The problem right now is time--or the lack thereof. Turns out the hood is a challenge--lots of grafting. And kinds I have never done before--purl stitches, live stitches to edge stitches. This is going to take some quiet time--that is, when kids are in bed.
But here's some pictures of the hood cables so you can see them. This one shows the left and right pieces together:

And this one shows the hood from a side view:

Pretty eh? When's bedtime?

What a lovely job. It looks really great. Good luck on the grafting. The first time I did cables I did it after the kids went to bed and Joe had gone too....takes some concentration until you learn the new move. Pretty cool when you've got it though. Can't wait to see your finished hood.

I'm loving watching the hood evolve - I wasn't really sure I understood its motion before. And write on, dear..... soon, so soon, before you know it, even, you'll be done. And then what will you write? You're doing great!

Faboo. I'm so excited to see people getting that far in it. It'll make it a lot easier when I get near that point. I'm doing the sleeves first and just cast on for the second one.
And to pester: I joined the rogue along list and was wondering if I could be part of your sidebar list as well?
Again. Fabulous job.
