Wrapping it Up
Baby Boy Sweater One

Grace Kelly, RIP

Well, all that's left of Grace is a pile of yarn. I ripped it out. I kept trying it on and it never suited me. I don't do cropped deep v-necks well. Horizontal stripes just make me look more broad and thick. So I frogged. And, I feel good about it. I'm thinking of making a summer tee or something similar out of it. Though Emma thinks it would be perfect as a poncho. I'm not worrying about it right now, it's back in the stash. Grace is a lovely pattern, just not for me. So now I'm starting the first baby boy sweater (since the baby was born last week). I'll tell you about that next time I post. It's my own design, so I better work out the details first!

It took awhile for me to frog with abandon when things weren't working out. It sure does feel great when it's done though, doesn't it. Liberation! I also think that lists, blogs, and digests help that process along. It is so much harder to let her rip when you are knitting in isolation! Still loving that poncho.
